Dr. Michael Giacopuzzi DVM
Dr. Mike is one of the founders and co-owners
of Humphrey, Giacopuzzi & Associates. He grew up locally on a
dairy farm in Ventura County and graduated veterinary school
from the University of California, Davis in 1980. After
graduation he came to work with Dr. Weden Humphrey and bought
the practice in 1983. Dr. Mike specializes in general surgery
and lameness. He is very active in the local 4-H program,
serves every year as the veterinarian for the Ventura County
Fair and is a member of the Rancheros Vistadores. |

Dr. Richard
Giacopuzzi DVM
Dr. Richard is a co-owner of Humphrey, Giacopuzzi & Associates. He
grew up in Conoga Park where he was raised in a ranching and
dairy family. Before veterinary school he worked as a racetrack
groom where his interest in equine practice was further
developed. He graduated veterinary school from the University
of California, Davis in 1979 and came to work here in Somis.
Dr. Richard primarily serves our ambulatory community however he
specializes in full service reproductive services. When not
working, Dr. Richard is active in his church, listens to and
plays bluegrass music and collects vintage guitars. |

Dr. Nicole Johnson DVM,
Dipl. AVCS
Dr. Johnson grew up in Michigan and received her veterinary
degree from Michigan State University. She completed an
internship at Arizona Equine Hospital and a three year surgical
residency at the University of California, Davis. She is a
Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and
specializes in general surgery and lameness. Dr. Johnson splits
her time between here and Colorado where she lives with her
husband Ryan and their dog Duke. |

Dr. Daven Ringen
Dr. Ringen is our intern for 2007-2008. He grew up in Yuba
City, California and went to veterinary school at Kansas State
University. |

Dr. Bruce Kuesis DVM, Dipl.
ACVIM
Dr. Kuesis is our internal medicine specialist who provides
specialty care and diagnostics for medicine cases on a referral
/ consultation basis. He graduated from veterinary school from
the University of Illinois in 1989 and completed an internship
in large animal medicine and surgery at the Texas A&M College of
Veterinary Medicine and a three year equine internal medicine
residency from the University of California, Davis. He has
practiced in Northern Illinois, Scottsdale, Arizona and is
currently the owner of Mission Equine Associates in Santa
Barbara where he lives with his wife and three children. |
